How to Participate in the Project

There are several areas open for public participation. One, obviously, is to stitch a panel; this can be done as an individual or as part of a small group. Another is to suggest ideas for future panels; these should involve stories relating to Methodist history and/or heritage, whether relating to an individual location or more general in theme.

It is also possible to design a panel for us, working within our standard format. Some of our participants have elected to do all of these elements, researching and designing their own panels prior to stitching them; others have chosen to focus on one or two elements only.
We are happy to work with participants in whichever way suits them best, while retaining overall control of the process.

All stitchers are encouraged to use the stitches and techniques that they prefer, and that they consider appropriate to the design. Support and advice throughout will be available from Tracy, David and Liz.
